Overview
As the Frontend Developer and UI/UX Designer for RuangDatarku, I was responsible for designing and developing an interactive educational website that helps elementary school students learn geometry through visual explanations, structured learning materials, and engaging activities.
RuangDatarku is a web-based learning platform designed to make geometry easier and more enjoyable for students, teachers, and parents. The platform introduces various three-dimensional shapes, including cubes, rectangular prisms, cylinders, cones, pyramids, and prisms, through simple explanations and child-friendly visual content.
I designed the user interface to be colorful, engaging, and easy to navigate for younger users. Each learning module is presented using a consistent structure that includes shape definitions, geometric elements, characteristics, real-life examples, illustrations, nets, formulas, interactive exploration sections, quizzes, and additional practice questions.
As the developer, I built reusable page structures and components to ensure that each geometry topic could be presented consistently while maintaining its own learning content. I also developed responsive navigation, topic selection menus, interactive quiz elements, and mobile-friendly layouts so the platform could be accessed comfortably across desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices.
Key features I developed include dedicated learning pages for each three-dimensional shape, visual examples from everyday objects, volume and surface-area formulas, geometric net illustrations, topic-based interactive quizzes, true-or-false assessments, and additional exercises to help students evaluate their understanding.
I also managed the deployment of the website through Vercel, ensuring that the application was accessible online, responsive across different screen sizes, and optimized for a smooth user experience.
The goal of RuangDatarku is to transform geometry learning from a text-heavy experience into a more visual, interactive, and accessible digital learning environment for elementary school students.
